Yooju’s second mini album as a solo artist, [O].

Through this album, Yoojoo takes a moment to reflect on and document her life as a journey.

Reflecting on the many paths, choices, and emotions she has faced to get to where she is now, she looks ahead to where she wants to go.

Where is she now in the picture she draws?

∵ We are all on our own journey from the moment we are born, which is why many people compare life to a ‘journey’. The album [O] is a small travelogue of mine, and I would like to introduce and record the moments in it in each track, as well as support the journeys of many people who are sailing fiercely in their own places.

The album begins with a rather somber opening line, “We’ve been at each other’s throats for a long time,” but ends with a playful laugh in the last five tracks, as if we’ve made up. All of these emotions – hate and love, confusion and stability, all of which coexist on the journey – resembled a large circle, and I soon decided to name the album after that shape. In a way, it’s the first time I’ve named an album with a ‘shape’ rather than a ‘word’ meaning.

At this point in my life, there’s probably more to come than what I’ve been through so far, and that’s what makes this journey exciting, scary, and precious. I dare you to go on this journey, sometimes bumpy, sometimes sweet, and I sincerely support you through this album.
