Tempest, who broke more records with their second mini album “SHINING UP” in August, selling more than 70,000 albums in the first two months, entering the top of the music charts, and being nominated for the number one spot on music broadcasts, is continuing their unstoppable growth with their third mini album “ON and ON”.
The third mini album, “ON and ON,” which reveals the group’s ambition to soar toward their dreams without settling for the present, conveys Tempest’s strong will to continue to move forward into a new world created by ‘we’ together. The album, which contains four songs in total, sings about the existence of ‘we’ who provide courage and salvation to each other, and tells the story of Tempest’s desire to move forward into a wider world. Not only did members LEW and Hwarang participate in writing the title track and other songs to solidify the narrative of Tempest, but the album is expected to be an album that reveals Tempest’s ‘boyishness’ and ‘maturity’ at the same time by combining the title track of the hybrid trap genre with an impressive sound and the songs that show the essence of Tempest’s ‘freshness’.
Since their debut in March, Tempest has been actively performing and establishing themselves as the leading boy group of 2022, and with their more mature visuals and irreplaceable performances, they are sure to make their mark on global K-Pop fans.
Taste The Feeling
“Taste The Feeling” is a pop/disco song with a catchy chorus and an energetic upbeat, making it a catchy melody that you can’t stop listening to. The bright, party-like atmosphere of the song and lyrics like ‘Neverland’ and ‘Peter Pan’ enhance the boyishness of the members.
Dragon (*Title)
The title track “Dragon” is a hybrid trap song with an impressive sound, and it is a song that compares the image of a dragon flying higher to a ‘dream’. The lyrics, “Dragon fly high / Drive the momentum to fly high / The heat that swirls / The breath that overflows to the end of the chin,” reflect the boys’ fierce ambition and momentum that has matured further.
Loving Number
A dance-pop song with a rhythmic synth pattern, “Loving Number” features witty lyrics about a couple’s code word for being in love. The song’s innocent and fluttery feelings are complemented by the members’ group shouts, completing the refreshing tempo.
Raise Me Up
“Raise Me Up” is a synth-pop song that combines a retro textured sound with a refreshing melodic line, and tells the story of what made it possible to dream of soaring after a dark time of wandering.
