After a year and a half since their debut, SEVENTEEN, who have established themselves as a refreshing idol and self-produced idol, are back with their third mini album, “Going Seventeen,” and are bringing their passion to the table.
‘Going Seventeen’, which consists of eight new songs including the title track ‘Boom Boom’, will be released in three versions, ‘Make A Wish’, ‘Make It Happen’, and ‘Make The Seventeen’, with the keyword of passion for dreams.
The three albums follow the Seventeen as they build a boat to fulfill their dreams and passions, and through it, move on to a new world. The title track “Boom Boom” expresses the excitement of running toward a goal through these dreams and passions and the thumping heart when you see your favorite person through the word “BOOM”. As a song that allows you to fully feel the passionate energy of SEVENTEEN, the repetition of ‘BOOM’ naturally sticks in your head, making it easy to hum along, and you can feel SEVENTEEN’s energy even more powerful than before.
In particular, the performance of “Boom Boom,” which can be described as “powerful” and “passionate,” conveys the passion of running toward one dream with a bright and dynamic performance that is unique to SEVENTEEN. The choreography utilizing costumes and witty choreography that matches the lyrics is also one of the viewpoints.
In addition, “Going Seventeen” is the first time that the members of SEVENTEEN, who have been creating their own songs and choreography since their debut, participated in the songwriting process. In particular, the songwriting duo of Uzi and Kwangkang, who have been a fantastic combination since their debut song “Save Me,” once again showcased the charm that only SEVENTEEN can show. The other members of SEVENTEEN also contributed to the album’s songs, showcasing the group’s growing musical capabilities.
